If, however, the lighter fails, the gambler must give up the little finger of his left hand. A girl and another gambler watch as bet starts. After the gambler manages to light his lighter seven times in a row, the bet is called off after the intervention of the a woman who claims to be the man's wife. She claims that the convertible is hers and that her husband has nothing to bet since she has already won everything he owns.
