Can anybody help me?... I've watched the movie for the umpteenth time and every time I have decide to investigate the following (..but then forget): When Robie takes the bus to Cannes to talk to Bertani at the restaurant, he gets off the bus at the top of some stairs. I know we're supposed to be in Cannes, but the harbour is distinctly Monte Carlo - am I right?

I always thought that the bus and restaurant scene were in Nice. The most likely location for the steps would be at the bottom of the Chateau hill on Rauba Capeu. The restaurant would then be at Place Guynenmer. (Burt Zolotar)
