NEW FILMS IN LONDON

PRODUCTION BY MR. LUPINO LANE

British International Pictures, Limited, have decided that in view of the increase in their schedule of production Mr. Alfred Hitchcock shall undertake the supervision of a number of new films during the coming 12 months instead of himself directing any pictures. It is proposed that these pictures shall be made by new young directors, who will thus be enabled to develop their work under the direction of Mr. Hitchcock, who has already produced many successful British pictures, including Murder, Blackmail, and The Skin Game.

Among the new pictures which are being shown in London this week Innocents of Chicago is included in the programme at the London Pavilion and the Regal. In spite of its title, it is a British film which has been produced by Mr. Lupino Lane, who gained considerable experience in Hollywood and has now returned to the studios of this country.
