ANGLO-AMERICAN FILM AGREEMENT

The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Corporation of America have entered into a joint arrangement with the Gaumont-British and Gainsborough organizations for the immediate production of films in this country. The first to be made will be The Lady Vanishes, directed by Mr, Alfred Hitchcock, whose work is as well known in America as it is here. The second film will have Miss Jessie Matthews in it, and the third Mr. Will Hay. The films will be distributed in this country by the American organization, and in return for this concession the British companies will be given a right of way into the American market.
