"Cheap Is Cheap" was originally broadcast on 05/Apr/1959 as part of the fourth season of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

[edit] Synopsis

Alexander Gifford is a miser who wants get rid of his wife. He thinks about divorcing her, but realizes that it will be expensive. He then considers hiring a hitman to kill her, but then thinks of the high cost. So Gifford kills her himself. He is shocked, however, by the funeral bill of $150. He decides to sell his wife's body to science and gets $75. (TV.com)
